Submission Guidelines

The Journal of Clinical and Advanced Medicine (JCAM) accepts manuscript submissions exclusively through its Open Journal Systems (OJS) online submission platform. Authors are required to carefully follow the submission guidelines to ensure smooth processing and efficient peer review.

Steps to Submit a Manuscript

1. Register or Log In to the journal’s submission portal.
2. Select “Make a New Submission” from your user dashboard.
3. Follow the guided steps:
• Confirm submission requirements
• Upload manuscript files (main document, title page, figures, tables)
• Enter metadata (title, abstract, keywords, author details)
• Upload supplementary documents (ethics approval, consent forms, etc.)
4. Review all details carefully before final submission.
5. Submit the manuscript and receive an automatic confirmation email.

Authors may monitor the progress of their submission at any time through their OJS account.

Submission Checklist

Before submitting your manuscript, please ensure that:

Manuscript Formatting

• ✔ Manuscript is prepared according to journal formatting guidelines
• ✔ File is in .doc or .docx format
• ✔ All figures and tables are uploaded separately
• ✔ References follow Vancouver style

Title Page

• ✔ Includes complete author names, affiliations, ORCID (optional)
• ✔ Corresponding author details are correct
• ✔ Author contributions are clearly stated

Ethical Requirements

• ✔ Ethical approval statement is included (if applicable)
• ✔ Informed consent is obtained for case reports or identifiable data
• ✔ No part of the manuscript is plagiarized or published elsewhere

Declarations

• ✔ Conflict of Interest statement provided
• ✔ Funding information provided (if any)

Additional Documents

• ✔ Response letter (for revised submissions)
• ✔ Permissions for reused images/materials (if necessary)

Only submissions fulfilling the checklist will be considered for peer review.
